Pacquaio vs. Hatton Fight
So what is the verdict for this great fight scheduled for May 2, 2009? Who are you siding with or should I say, who do you think will win? This really is too close to call. They are both great fighters and they both have a super aggressive attitude once the bell rings. Their behavior kind of reminds me of two pit bulls who will be let loose on that day to fight. As far as I am concern, after doing additional research on both fighters, I feel tha this fight can go either way. One mistake on either side and it is over for that fighter. Manny's speed should give him an edge, however Ricky as mentioned in my previous blog has somewhat of a brawler attitude and I am sure that he will attempt to push his weight around in the ring.
Both have been training hard at their respective camps, Ricky in Vegas and Manny in California. In addition, Ricky has an outstanding trainer, none other than Floyd Mayweather Sr., and Manny with the great Freddie Roach. Only time will tell. If anyone has been watching the HBO series over the past two to three weeks, you will see that both of these find fighters are in top condition and these coaches have really been pushing their fighters to the limit in terms of endurance, stamina, toughness just to name a few qualities of a seasoned fighter.
However, it is something about Manny's humble attitude and beginnings that really make him stand out in my opinion. He always seem to be cool, calm, and collective. Yet, once he enters that ring, the beast is unleashed. If one has watched his earlier fights, one will be able to see that for the most part, Manny devestated his opponents. He did survive a few close calls, but believe me he will give his fans their money's worth. And that also goes for Ricky. A tough Irishman, and come to think of it, Manny has not fought anyone anyone on that side of the world. Pound for pound, they are definitely two of the best in their weight division. Anyway, on May 2, 2009, the victor of this fight will emerge as the best in their weight class. Now, I am wondering, will this bring out Floyd Mayweather Jr.? What do you think? Do you think that Floyd can defeat Manny? This will be a battle of the EAST MEETS THE WEST. Any comments or replies will greatly appreciated. SEE YOU THERE, FIGHT FANS!!!
